| About twenty years ago, Wade and Doug’s father
built his first airboat out of the family garage. People everywhere
were impressed with his design and distinguished quality of
work. So Mr. Hamant began making airboats for others and perfected
his craft. When the demand increased he moved to a larger shop
where his two teenage sons joined him.
Passing on the family trade and the value of quality craftsmanship,
Mr. Hamant sold his part of Hamant Airboats to his sons. With
that transition, the two brothers created Airboats Inc. With
their high attention to detail, master craftsmanship and quality
guarantee, at Airboats Inc., the only thing that has changed
is the name.
